Hebrews 12 12:14 says, “Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.”
I zeroed in on this word “strive” this morning. I and several other ladies I know have been sharing the feelings of anger that are challenging us to respond in christlikeness. Strive reminds me that this does not come naturally to us we have to-

1. try hard: to try hard to achieve or get something

2.oppose: to fight in opposition to something

3.compete: to compete resolutely against somebody or something. Encarta® World English Dictionary.

But remember Psalm 37 Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. 6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him;fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! 8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath!Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. 9 For the evildoers shall be cut off,but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land.
